Tindastóll beat 2nd division club Dalvík/Reynir in the 2nd round of the Cup. Tindastóll are through to the final 32. The round will be played on the 29th of May.
Tindastóll won the game by 5 goals to 1. Christopher Tsonis scored two goals, Elvar Páll Sigurðsson scored once and so did Atli Arnarson and Steven Beattie.

Tindastóll played against Leiknir in the 1st round of the 2013 campaign. Tindastóll controlled the match more or less in the 1st half as they got the better chances in the half, Chris Tsonis had few chances as did Elvar Páll Sigurðsson. Leiknir threatened mostly in set pieces but didn´t open up Tindastól defense in open play.
Leiknir, Óttar Bjarni should have received a red card in the 11th minute when he went into a two footed challenge on Atli Arnarson, but referee Örvar Sær only gave him a yellow.
In the second half, the match remained very equal and the 1st goal could have come at either end. But the 1st goal came from Tindastóll, Steven Beattie gave a good ball through Leiknir defense and there was Elvar Páll, who got passed the Leiknir goalkeeper and finished well.

Only 2 minutes later, Leiknir got a free kick on the left wing. Tindastóll could not get the ball away and one of Tindastoll player didn´t mark his player, so Indriði Áki Þorláksson was alone at the far post and tapped it in.
The last 10.minutes Leiknir pressed Tindastoll high up the pitch, but Seb Furness kept everything out and the final score 1-1.

The experts say that if Tindastoll is going to stay up , they need to be lucky with their foreign players, like they where last season. They also say the team is well organized under the control of a promisins young coach, Donni.
on the downside, they say the team have lost almost all players that matter the most to the team last season, except the goalkeeper. Often it is the second year that is the hardest in a new league, so it will be difficult season for the club.

Tindastóll played against the Icelandic Champions FH last saturday. The result was 2-0 for FH, where Guðmann Þórisson scored the opening goal on 28th minute with a header from a corner. FH sealed the victory on 86th minute when Einar Karl Ingvarsson scored with a well placed shot.

Tindastóll played there first game in Lengjubikarinn on Sunday against Pepsi team Fylkir. Fylkir won the match 1-0, where veteran Tryggvi Guðmundsson scored the only goal on 48th minute from a free-kick, just outside the box.
Tindastóll is in A- Division , group 1 in Lengjubikarinn along side Premiership teams such as, Fylkir, current icelandic champions FH, ÍBV and Víkingur Ólafsvík. Other teams from 1.deild in this group are Grindavík, Fjölnir and BÍ/Bolungarvík.

Sebastian Furness has agreed a deal with Tindastoll for the upcoming season. Sebastian was our main keeper for last season where he played 19 league games and 1 cup game. We are pleased to announce that he will be with us again for the upcoming season. He will arrive to Iceland around 24th of April and Tindastol´s first game will be on the 9th of May.
Tindastóll have signed two new players for next season. First they signed the 22 year old striker, Christopher Tsonis. Tsonis played two trial matches with Tindastól and scored 4.goals. Last season he played in the NCAA div 2 with Southern New Hampshire University where he scored 16 goals in 23 matches. Tsonis will arrive to Iceland around 24th of April.

Tindastóll also signed Tsonis fellow team, Ruben Resendes. Ruben who is 22 years old has double citizenship USA/Portugese.
Ruben who is 5’6” was born and raised in Fall River Massachusetts. In 2008 Ruben was one of the 20 players selected to play for the New England Revolution U18 team where he would spend 2 years with the Revolution organization before moving to play at a collegiate level for SNHU.
Ruben is a natural right back but also plays in a box-to-box midfielder role. Know for his pristine passing abilities and hard work ethic Ruben has been an asset for the SNHU men’s soccer team.
Tindastóll welcomes both players to Iceland and we look forward getting them over to Iceland in April.

Tindastóll finished the 1st division season in 8th place. Before the season all predictions had been that Tindastóll would be relegated and finish in the 12th place. Tindastóll finished the season with 27.points, scored 34 goals (only two teams scored more) and conceded 42 goals (second highest). All pundits agreed that Tindastóll played one of the most exciting games in the 1st Division and goals where not a problem.
Leading goalscorer was former Middlesbrough player, Ben Everson, but he and Theo Furness (also former Boro) left the club in the July transfer window to play in the Pepsi-league (highest league in Iceland). The team replaced them with Colin Helmrich (former IPFW) and former Toronto FC (MLS) and NKU legend Steven Beattie. They both did well for the team. Colin scored 3.goals in 9 matches and Steven scored 4. goals in 10 matches. Steven Beattie was voted in the Irish XI team of the week for his performance in his game against Leiknir Reykjavik, when he scored 2.goals. He was in the frontline along with Shane Long (W.B.A) and Andy Keogh (Milwall). Here you can see the squad.
Most Appearences for Tindastóll in the Season was Atli Arnarson who played in all 22.matches in the league. Árni Arnarson, Edvard Börkur Óttharsson and Björn Anton Guðmundsson all played 20.games. Here you can see the team statistic.
